Today I owe my thanks to the man who helped me save time by telling me how to gett back to Aldergrove from Vancouver.Thank You.
Well, I only spent 30 seconeds there then caught the next packed skytrain to Surrey Central station to catch the bus to langley center, then off to Aldergrove. After spent my last 50 cents on a phone call to my foster mom who sent my foster dad to come pick me up.
Now I be home, planning my next trip to Van.
I'm Feeling Very Vengeful Today...
I am feeling very vengeful today, and I'll be back tommorow to play.
That mall cop won't have time to run,
'Cause he'll have the cops on his ass.
Well, I hate him. That Fascist pig, kick me out because I apparantly shoplifted from best buy. I haven't been there for several months!
Damnation! I feel so psycotic right now, I'm loosing my mind again.
It's pretty chilly outside, though my suit keeps me warm. I feel like I could kill something with no remorse. I need a bit of scotch right now, and maybe some coffee... Never could go anywhere without an escort. That conservative asshole shall die in the hole he came from when I'm done with him.
That's enough ranting for now.
I still hav'nt gotten a job, which I have been looking for 2 years now. It's like they only hire tall people, and ignore the nice looking short guy. I HATE TALL PEOPLE! They always make fun out of the short people. They think they're so tough and belive they can do anything. Just like the jocks at school, always getting the girls and ruining my sanity. (Like I had any in the first place.)
My mental condition is now on the vine, I hate myself for bieng individual, bieng differant gets me looks from people like I'm an alien or something. People are to judgemental these days. Right now I belive that people who are looking like a lost cause are the most sane, while others who are folowers of them "Gangstas" are insane and just, ugh, I can't put a word to it. I HATE SOCIETY!

Smoking IS Good For You
WAY too much has been said about the 'ill-effects' of smoking, what it could 'do' to you and other crap. The effects of smoking have been greatly exaggerated, and it's us smokers who have to face the public sentiment on this.
Anyways, what is the big deal if I smoke? People will often come up to me and tell me, "Smoking can kill you, you know?" I promptly reply with some smartass remark like "Really? THANK you for telling me!" Yeah, Sherlocks. I'm too stupid and illiterate to read the warning on the pack, let alone understand it. I have this feeling that not smoking actually makes people so stupid, they don't realize that smokers already know what they're doing to their bodies. Hey, I know my lungs have taken on a distinct coloration of black, with pink patches here and there. I know that I'll be hacking up blood in my cough, a couple years from now. Who gives a damn?
I have a hectic and inundated life, and I'd like to take a break from it all to enjoy the relief that the cigarette can bring to me. The last thing I need is for yet another self-appointed Samaritan coming near me to tell me what I'm doing to my body, or why they object to me puffing around. It's not like I'm going up to them and telling them, "Excuse me, sir, could you please go elsewhere, you're in my smoking space." I'd really love to do that though, I don't think that they're even worthy of breathing my 2nd hand smoke.
How many of you readers smoke? How many of you are ferverent anti-smoking lobbyists? What IS your problem with smokers? Till date, I haven't seen a good answer for that last question.
I've made a list of 20 points I'd like to make for the case of smoking. If anyone can, what is the case against smoking/second-hand smoking?
Here's my spit:
- Increases concentration.
- People often go with the general sentiment on things like these, most of what you hear is hogwash. Cases of cancer are linked with smoking, but it's not proof. Only 1 in 3 of us will get lung cancer. (By "us" I also include non smokers).
- Smokers are a persecuted lot, since this habit has been banned from workplaces, restaurants, buses, subways and planes. You don't think they'd outlaw breathing for christ's sake.
- Smokers have the only real community that's left in the workplace today.
- Smokers suffer from less stress, since they actually take a few breaks per day.
- That bruhaha about second hand smoking is a load of crap. it's just a phrase made up to get normal people who earlier didn't care about it, to go and further persecute the smokers.
- It's cool to smoke. Ever seen a hacker or a real artist with a health shake?
- Smokers support the economy by paying all those taxes, which *AHEM* some of us don't.
- Warning:
The Surgeon General fails to warn you that non-smokers die every day - Studies have shown that prolonged contact (as in several years) with second hand smoking can cause mild lung problems. Second hand smoke has no immediate harmful effects.
- Actually, why not just ban non-smokers? :D
- Too much is made of the 4000 chemicals that make up a cigarette. Several carcinogens found in cigarettes are found in peppers, carrots, strawberries, tomatoes, onions and grapefruit.
- Believe it or not, nicotine is actually "a surprisingly potent drug for a variety of diseases that afflict the brain, including Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and Tourette’s syndrome." (An image makeover for nicotine: It shows promise against brain diseases, HealthCentral.com - Feb. 21, 2000) Smokers have a 60% lower risk of Parkinson's disease
- Nicotine has a positive effect on ulcerative colitis, which is an inflammation of the stomach lining, and this disorder affects nonsmokers more than smokers.
- Smokers actually recovered better from a heart attack than nonsmokers
- Smoking was found to reduce the risk of estrogen-dependent endometrial cancer (dunno what that means, it just sounds really cool)
- Schizophrenics (4 million Americans) who smoke can get enough nicotine stimulation to switch on a brain receptor that helps filter information.
- Stanford researchers have discovered that low doses of nicotine - a major component of cigarette smoke - appear to promote new blood vessel growth (in mice). (“Nicotine to be used to treat heart disease,” Reuters Health, HealthCentral.com - Sept. 2000)
- Alcohol is even more harmful than smoking. Yet not much is said against it as compared to smoking. Half a bottle of wine can supply you with 32-40 times the amount of lead a whole pack of smokes can give you.
- "Sick smokers may burden a country's health care system but dead smokers save governments money"
A single drive to work puts out more deadly fumes and toxins in the air, than a smoker could possibly do in one year. If you drive a car, your car puts out more deadly poisons and toxins in one drive to work than my smoking does in a year. When you go home again, that's another year. So in a couple months, you've created more deadly toxins in the environment than my smoking will in a lifetime. But it's always easier to point fingers at other people, isn't it?
If you're really concerned about your health then put your money where your mouth is. Stop buying products that are painted (all kinds of toxins put into the environment) or made of plastic (here's some stuff that's good for your health, right?) and stop driving a car. You can survive that way - a lot of people do it. But I'll bet you don't want to give up the conveniences these things offer.
I'm really tired of hearing people complain about the health risks that smokers present to them when they aren't willing to make changes to their own lifestyle that WOULD AFFECT THEM MORE than having any number of smokers quit.
I'm a smoker and to be honest, I really hate seeing butts all over the ground. But I'm also tired of seeing McDonalds wrappers all over the place. When a non-smoker sees a butt on the ground, they always say something like, "ALL smokers should have to clean these up." or something along the lines of punishment for ALL smokers. But they never say "every person who eats at McDonalds should have to clean these up."
When was the last time you heard this one:
"He went to the bar after work, had one smoke too many and went home and beat the crap out of his wife and kids?"
Or
"That auto accident was caused by someone who smoked one too many? (we're talking about tobacco here)."

Hand Grenades and Religion
Wake up, get out of bed, drag a comb across my head.
Get to the kitchen and have a cup of coffee. Grab my coat, put on my hat, make my ride in seconds flat.
Early yes, at 10:30ish. Head down to the church in town, never had been there in my life. Hadn't gone to church in a long time...
Yet this church had something special, as if you were walking into a concert. People packed the seats, and a awe inspiring band plays christian rock songs that make yoiu feel left out if you didn't sing the songs... I was even singing along. Then the host pastor came and gave child devotions to a couple families.
After that, A preforming service of which I have never had seen before. A voice as powerful and assertive like hand grenades in the audience. A tinge of humor that made it all the better, Pastor Jeff. Spoke of possesions and bieng a conduit of God's prowess and love. As a human, or wealthy landowner, be to give selflessly to the needy, at all times, scanning the horizons for oppurtunities to do so. And not to just take a job, then sit down on your leather couch.
Jesus gave his life to give us freedom from our sins, to save us from utter doom of sin. That may not make any sense what so ever. But the service was so powerful, yet kind to inspire who we can really be by aborbing His word into our lives and to give hope to others by spreading His word and grace. To be a conduit of His word shall be a job to all mortals alike.
Inspiring pastor Jeff is.
Regards,
Slick.

I haven't seen my true darkness in a while, feels good to be back there. Maybe if I stopped taking my pills and just went with my darkness, I could die sooner... Hmmm, A thought to consider.
Lonliness kills me now. Oh wait, oooh cigarettes, free....
Uhm where was I?
Oh yes. Lonliness, a bliss to one in isolation. Yet to one who reads to many old romance novels, it would be a mirical to find another girl that would accept me for who I am.
Now you may think I'm too young for saying this shit... but I have had problems with my life that I had to do alone. Though if I had someone I could compare with and talk with when I entered the door. Someone I could cry on. Someone to take to dinner on sunday night, it would be a miracle.
Now I'm going to tell the truth here. When I was 12 years old, I had an imaginary girlfriend. Sad, yes. But I had more problems in that point in isolation that I had to. I am a freak, I know...
I hate myself for doing that.
Now to go into my corner and cry.

The thing is, that I must confess...

I know, I know. You're probably thinking. "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING???"
DND is not Satan's Game for crying out loud. Yes I agree with the fact that barely anyone plays it, and pieces are hard to find. Though I started getting into it when I started getting back into board games.
I found my old installer for DDO and thought about the real DND, you know, with the board.
I am going to keep the group I will play with to close friends only, I will not play with people I do not know.
So, that said, I feel like I got a bit off my chest. Because, yes, I AM a geek.
But ladies! If you still want dinner and a dance sunday night you're more than welcome.

Refuge
After a long day out on the driveways of my street, I lay in my bed and consider how much my back's going to hurt twice as much in the morning, when I know there will be school and all will be painful. Both mentally and physically.
I have back problems. Yes, even at the young age that I am, I do.
The work I have done up in the central interior were excruciating to my spine, and my head...
Oh boy, this will hurt.
Hurt so much now, I had trouble getting undressed for bed... I could barely move to my pillow.
Then I had much time to myself. Mostly spent on playing Minecraft and reviewing for my Socials 10 Honors presentation. I shall take great pride in showing how the USSR, my homeland screwed over communism and made it a hated part in human society. Now I won't go on about how great communism would be if humans could not have any greed what-so-ever, so I will stick to having to say only that.
Now, at about a nickle after ten at night, I struggle to relax my back to fall to the bliss of a dream. Not knowing what is ahead in time.
(Tom Waits - Diamonds on my Windshield) Perfect song to describe my feelings of road conditions today. As an avid listener to Big Band and Tom Waits, I wonder if I will make it to swing dancing this Sunday for I have unfortunantly missed last weeks dance. Oh how I would have ripped up the floor in my new suit...
And oh how we danced, as she whispered to me... 'we'll never be going back hooooome.'
(Rain Dogs - Tom Waits)
You name it, I can relate it to Tom Waits songs.
The MCFD (Ministry of Child and Family Development) has luckily made me fall into the grace days. Meaning that I have a bit more time with my foster family before the meeting with all my social workers come together and decide if I go back home. My only wis is that I get enough time to stay with my foster family until I am definantly able to be applicable for independant living, I will go over the pros and cons of Independant Living contrasting with my goals on another post.
So I think this is enough venting for now so... Happy Snow Day Comrades.

Weather? say what?
No Way, I walk out of the theatre, and find that a new blanket of snow has just arrived to screw over everyone's lives. Man oh man.
Now, who ever understands my point of view with snow will agree with me that it's only a white blanket of death, carr accidents, poor road conditions and late snowplow schedules and the result of my bieng late for school due to the buses having no chains.
Now the weather outside is frightful, but the fire insides delighful.
Now sing a good song, and try not to slide along.
Walking in a winter hell-hole...
The people out here and bitching, 'bout the roads of snow and the wind is horridly quickning.
I hate the snow now, because I'm of the age. When winter's just really freaking cold.
Now that my bad rhyme's over, I understand that the snow here is not as bad as Fort St. James or Calgary.
Though since I've lived up in Prince George for a while, I want nothing more to do with the white stuff.
Thank you for your time.
